Lee Dutton's Cabin
The Fisherman Cabin
Cabin History
Located approximately 50 feet from the Lodge, the Fisherman Cabin overlooks the Bitterroot River, providing 360 degree views of the Bitterroot Mountains and the Sapphire Mountains.
Built in 1916, the cabin served as housing for the lodge's domestic staff. Currently, the cabin serves as a guest cabin, utilized by fisherman and vacationers in the Bitterroot Valley.
In Season 1, Episode 1 of Yellowstone, the audience is introduced to Lee Dutton, the oldest son in the Dutton family. At the end of Episode 1, the cabin no longer serves as his home. In Season 2, Episode 7, John moves into Lee's cabin to reflect upon his loss and changing family dynamics.
